Corn Sugar (Dextrose) is used as a priming sugar to create carbonation when bottling beers. Yeast can easily consume the sugar without altering the flavor of your beer. When used at the front end of the brewing process, corn sugar can be used to raise original gravity.

For bottling, use 4 oz per 5 gallons. Bring to boil with 22 oz. of water, boil for 5 minutes to sanitize before adding to the secondary, just before bottling.

For kegging, use 3 oz per 5 gallons. Follow the above instructions for prepping the corn sugar.
